In addition to this, each year the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada partners with Air Transat to fly 100 children or more and their families to the North Pole in search of Santa Claus! Three of The Bras Family Foundation’s board members, Maggie Bras, Leah Lambrakis Bras and Paul Ivany were honoured to be invited on this journey along with many other supporters.

The day was magical. It began with check in at Pearson International Airport, where the children and families were entertained by clowns, which was followed by a live brass band at the airline gate; Christmas carolers; a story telling booth; and cookie bar and a visit by a cute little monkey!

Finally, we all boarded the plane and took off to the North Pole in search of Santa Claus. Excitement filled the plane in anticipation of seeing Santa and when he appeared the screams of delight of the children was heartwarming and overwhelming.

This day will stay in our hearts forever.
